2nd Shift Seat Assembly 

$18.10/hr. (starting)  $22.09/hr (after 48 months)

Great position for those with a strong work record and previous assembly experience. Candidates will work on a fast-paced, just-in-time manufacturing line and must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be available to work any shift, plus overtime. Starting pay is $18.10 an hour, increasing to $22.095 an hour after 48 months.

Industrial Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager will direct all maintenance and utility activities to ensure maximum operational potential. This includes all functions in the areas of Maintenance Business Management, Maintenance Materials Inventory, Manufacturing Process Reliability and Equipment Reliability, e.g. departmental budgets, computerized maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities:

· Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment, and in maintenance of buildings grounds, and utility systems of the plant.

· Reviews job orders to determine work priorities. Schedules repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.

· Coordinates activities of workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing systems.

· Directs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.

· Develops preventive maintenance program in conjunction with engineering and maintenance staff.

· Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.

· Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.

· Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies require for operation.

· Confers with management, engineering, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.

· Establish and control annual departmental budget.

· Perform performance appraisals.

· All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Working knowledge of local building codes, standards, and OSHA requirements preferred

· Four-year college degree and 5+ years of maintenance management or equivalent working experience required

· 10+ years of Maintenance experience in a fast paced manufacturing facility required

· Excellent teamwork and communication skills

· Outstanding organizational and leadership skills

· Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

· Experience negotiating, planning, and budgeting

· Excellent Electrical and/or Mechanical Troubleshooting and Problem-solving aptitude

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

  • Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
  • Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Preform repairs on all production and facility equipment. Electrical, Mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Plan and schedule repairs.
  • Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.

2nd Shift Human Resources Facilitator

The primary function of this job is to provide support to the HR Department while gaining exposure to multiple HR functions and processes. The HR facilitator position is responsible for overseeing and carrying out the Human Resource function in assigned locations, with particular emphasis in recruitment, hiring, on-boarding, employee relations, and employee engagement.

Position: 2nd Shift HR Facilitator

Pay Wage: $17-$20 / hour depending on experience plus $1.00 shift premium

Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday 3:30PM-12:00AM

Reports to: HR Management

HR ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represents HR with 2nd shift terminations and disciplinary actions
  • Assists with conducting investigations for 2nd shift complaints and issues, take statements.
  • Assists with safety injury reports and forward to Safety department
  • Translates documents from Spanish to English
  • Process termination paperwork
  • Conducts TNC verification for E-verify cases at Plant 2
  • Assists with entering and updating information in HR files and spreadsheets, time and attendance and ADP WFN.
  • Update employee schedules and post employee notifications
  • Run attendance report for plant #2, 2nd shift and issue contact sheets (back up for plant #1, 2nd shift) Hand delivery contact sheets to Administrators. Document date given and received back.
  • May assist with reviewing applications, interviewing and selecting.
  • Assists with new and temporary Associates orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Provides assistance with hourly and temporary Associates to facilitate effective interpersonal communications, assist them with HR/Time and Attendance system, badge, and other issues
  • Enters temporary/full time employee information into HR/Time and Attendance system.
  • Administration of Company Handbook
  • Make Badges and enroll new employees into Fastenal
  • Assists with verifying Time and Attendance to ensure accuracy
  • Assists with entering and updating information in HR/Time and Attendance and HR files.
  • Scan and Purge files/documents.
  • Assisting hourly Associates with questions.
  • Assist in planning Company events.
  • Facilitates random drug testing for 2nd shift associates at plant #2
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications

  • High School level or GED required
  • Experience in administrative, leadership or HR role preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • ADP experience preferred
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication plus interpersonal skills
  • Must be self-motivated

NHK Seating of America, Inc. is owned by NHK Spring of Japan. The Frankfort plant supports an Automotive company in Lafayette. We supply the seats in a fast-paced, Just-In-Time environment. A finished seat can come off our line about every minute. The work is very repetitive and physically demanding. Our production requirements are directly linked to our customer, as customer demand increases and decreases on a daily basis so does NHK Seat production requirements.

Position: 2nd Shift Seat Frame ( Welding)/ Seat Foam molding

Pay Wage: $18.10 to $21.09/hour (wages shown already INCLUDES $1.00 shift premium)

Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday plus some mandatory Saturdays

4:30PM – completion (up to 12 hours)
